 rtist Debby Quezada has been painting in B.C. for over 30 years. She graduated from the Vancouver School of Art in 1975, where she majored in painting and lithography.
After traveling in Europe and Mexico, she was married and had two children. During all the busy years of family life, Debby has continued to have a passion for sketching in watercolour outdoors in the summer, and for oil painting in her studio in the winter months. |
Whether she creates a painting of flowers, a landscape, a still life or an abstract painting, the one consistent quality apparent in all of them is a love of color. When Debby paints outdoors, she is motivated to capture the beauty of the natural landscape and cityscape. When she paints in her studio, she is interested in simplifying nature and adding some abstract elements. |
